AL MORRIS INTERVIEW

 FOXPRO Game Calls Pro Staff member Al Morris makes his living calling in coyotes and elk. Morris has won several calling championships in predator calling competitions and elk calling competitions. It is safe to say Morris can sound like almost any animal out there. Morris spends several months every fall and winter hunting on camera for FOXPRO game calls. Since he is on camera and because his job as a professional hunter depends on putting elk on the wall and pelts in the freezer, he needs the best gear available. Morris depends on Mathews Archery when it comes to archery elk hunting. “I have been shooting a Mathews for years,” said Morris. “This year I started shooting the new Mathews Z7 Extreme and I couldn’t be happier.”
    Being a diehard elk hunter, Morris has always shot an 80-pound bow but age has slowly caught up to him.  This year, he decided he would should 70 pounds and he has been very happy.  “I am accustomed to shooting a fast bow so I was a little worried about switching to a 70-pound bow but I have been very pleased. This bow is super fast, super quiet and is extremely accurate,” said Morris.
